WELCOME to our new blog!!

Hello 2015 Scholars!!

I am sending you the link to this blog as we will be using it weekly in our PERG classes this year. Feel free to post whatever you like, whenever you like. But, get some practice now so you can post easily when our class starts, that way you will be ready!!

I have had the chance to meet with almost every one of you...you are all GREAT! I can hardly wait for the retreat.

Below is my daughter Sofia. I hope you all get the chance to meet her sometime soon. She really wants to join us on the retreat...but I keep saying NO...I have to be there for all my OTHER children...my Scholars.

Make the most of the rest of your summer and know that all that you are doing today will help prepare you to conquer the challenges of tomorrow.

Hugs,
Leslie

  2. Hi Leslie,

I'm finding it hard to post on the blog as you said we should. I could only post a comment.

  3. that is the easiest way to respond, but if you want to have access to the blog page itself I will send you an individual invite. Suma, yours is on the way...if there are others who want author access instead of using comment box, let me know!

  5. Hello,
I want to send my love to all my sisters and brothers out there. I don't care if we are not blood related we’re family. Feel free to talk to me or ask me anything. This semester is going to be filled with challenges, academics, life, work, family. You don't have to go through it alone. That was my issue when I was new to the collegiate life. I thought I had to go through it alone. I thought I was to keep it all in and never ask for help. I now know that it doesn’t mean I’m weak if I ask for help. At one time or another we’ve needed help or assistance from someone. Even looking at the price family it is a support group that allows us to help each other, and support each other so that we can grow and eventually give back to the communities that need as much help as we do. Don’t feel discouraged, its ok to have stress, its ok to feel over whelmed but just remember there is always hope.
